I have been oohing & aahing over this trend for quite some time... I literally have an entire Pinterest board committed to it. Feel free to ooh & aah over it
here.
I'm calling it: "Neutral on Neutral". Which essentially means you won't see any pops of color throughout the space. Just layer upon layer of neutral colors.

The look just oozes timelessness. You could add/change colors throughout the seasons, or throughout the years. But the main pieces seem to say "I'll be beautiful forever."

Interest comes in 2 main concepts:
1. Contrast = lights & darks.
2. Texture = variety in patterns, & variety in touch.
The absence of color is very calming & comfortable. I'll admit, you won't see this palette anywhere in my home [I like to surround myself with color]. But I am still obsessed with the look.
Perhaps your home would be the perfect candidate for this timeless look?!
Have a happy weekend.
